Liz Williams is een Britse schrijfster, woonachtig te Glastonbury, Engeland.

 

Ze publiceerde 7 boeken in Groot-Brittannië en in de VS (The ghost sister, Empire of bones, The poison master (vertaald in het Nederlands als De gifmeester), Nine layers of sky, Banner of souls, Darkland, The snake agent). Ze heeft momenteel nog 5 romans onder commissie. Williams publiceerde reeksen kortverhalen bij Night Shade Books. Daarnaast verschenen meer dan 50 kortverhalen in magazines zoals Asimov's, InterZone en Realms of Fantasy. 4 van haar romas werden genomineerd voor de Philip K Dick Award. Momenteel komt haar roman Banner of Souls in aanmerking voor de Arthur C Clarke Award. Haar weblog en website.
