Artist, and writer. Since 1996 he has been a lecturer in the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication at the Universidad del País Vasco (Bilbao).
After studying fine arts, he worked as an artist, writer and organiser of different activities related to the visual arts, permanent video creation programmes, monographic publications, written contributions to specialised media such as Rekarte (Bilbao), Zehar (San Sebastián), Papers d´Art (Girona), Banda Aparte (Valencia) and Revista de Occidente (Madrid), among others. He has also written specific texts for exhibition catalogues such as Señales de Vídeo (MNCARS, Madrid 1995), Pere Portabella (MACBA, Barcelona, 2000) and Txomin Badiola (Museum of Fine Arts, Bilbao, 2002), among others.
